Bio

Ben Whaley is the founder of WhaleTech, a consulting company focused on cloud architecture, security, and automation. He was a core member of the team that built Apigee Edge, a globally-distributed API management platform built on AWS. He helped build and operate the back-end services for Anki, a robotics and artificial intelligence company.

Ben is recognized by AWS in the Community Heroes program. Ben is a co-author of the UNIX & Linux System Administration Handbook and other educational works on system administration. He maintains the CISSP credential, and was previously an RHCE and a PCI QSA.
